Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I am very pleased that you are interested in attending Selma University . Selma University has existed for 131 years. Selma University was founded in 1878 to train preachers for the Christian ministry. For a number of years, Selma University was a Christian liberal arts college with a Division of Religion and programs in the liberal arts. In recent years, Selma University has made the transition from a liberal arts college to a Bible college. As a Bible college, you are trained in the Bible and in General Studies. You are also required to attend Chapel, attend a church of your choice and be involved in Christian service. It is our goal to provide learning in a Christian atmosphere.

This is a good time to be coming to Selma University . On February 20, 2009 Selma University received full accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of the Association for Biblical Higher Education in Canada and the United States .
